Sr. Embedded Application Engineer
Job Title: Embedded Application EngineerJob Description Join a dynamic team that provides technical and engineering work for the R&D department of a leading global aesthetics company. The ideal candidate will engage in software architectural design, advanced GUI design and development, cybersecurity design, and implementation, as well as developing tools to support manufacturing medical systems. This role also involves creating software documentation for complex systems. Responsibilities + Design and implement user interfaces using Qt and QML. + Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes and FIGMA files into functional Windows applications. + Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement. + Perform software testing against the requirements. + Develop and execute software unit test automation. + Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs. Essential Skills + 5+ years of software development experience. + Proven experience in software development using Qt and QML. + Experience with Windows 10 OS. + Skills in unit testing and Windows-based GUI application development such as MFC, MVVM. + Proficiency in FIGMA, Python, SQL, and Visual Studio. + Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Physics, Math, or Electrical Engineering. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Master’s degree in a related technical field. + Experience with medical devices and standards like IEC62304, ISO14971, and IEC60601. + Design experience with real-time systems, state machines, and standard Windows applications. + Strong experience in writing advanced C++ code for complex systems. + Experience with C, SQL database, and OpenGL. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Raleigh, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $79.00/hr.
