Amazon Web Services came to China in 2013, and has been relentlessly investing and expanding our infrastructure and business since then. Amazon Web Services launched its China (Beijing) Region (operated by Sinnet) in September 2016 and its China (Ningxia) Region (operated by NWCD) in December 2017. In 2019, Amazon Web Services added a new region in Hong Kong, making China the only country with three Amazon Web Services regions aside from the U.S. In 2022, Amazon Web Services launched Local Zone in Taipei. Edge Services Specialists is responsible for AWS Edge Services go-to-market, covering (but no limited) the services of Amazon CloudFront, Shield and WAF, etc. You will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of a leading CDN and intelligence application protection technology. Your responsibilities will be to help increase the market penetration in enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate will possess both a business and technical background that enables them to engage an account at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. The candidate should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan. Key job responsibilities - Drive revenue and adoption of Edge services such as Amazon CloudFront, Amazon WAF, Amazon Shield, Amazon Route53, and other AWS offering in a defined territory. Meet or exceed annual revenue targets; - Build & propose a comprehensive account/territory Edge Services GTM plan; - Create & articulate compelling value propositions around the use of CloudFront, Shield, AGA and WAF; - Guide field teams in pricing strategies; - Work with partners to extend coverage and the Edge Services adoption; About the team Diverse Experiences AWS values diverse experiences.
