As a Senior Documentation Specialist, you will be the backbone of program integrity—ensuring our refugee services meet contractual requirements, maintain regulatory compliance, and reflect the exceptional quality that defines Samaritas. Your work will directly support frontline teams, elevate organizational performance, and strengthen outcomes for those we serve.

Provide support to Refugee programs across the state in the areas of quality assurance, training and program compliance with program service objectives, organizational quality, audits and integrity initiatives of Samaritas. Reviews and analyzes program documentation to ensure compliance with contractual regulations and agency quality standards.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

Provide ongoing review of program case files and documents for Refugee programs across the stateEstablish new case files through data entry into program databasesAnalyze and report case documentation strength and weakness trends and make recommendations to supervisors and managersConduct documentation audits on a regular basis; develop and monitor plans of correction resulting from this process, in coordination with the program leadership and in collaboration with the Quality divisionProvide annual audits with data entry, cross referencing service documentation in multiple information systems, and electronic submission of case files to contractorsCommunicate with and respond to issues or matters raised by staff related to quality, compliance, and continuous quality improvement systemsSupports Center Administrator and other appropriate staff in monitoring Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives; support satisfaction survey distribution and record results; share outcomes and trends with program leadershipProvides outcome measurements and evaluation activities as part of the Samaritas Performance Management Plan (PMP)All other related duties as assigned by Supervisor _________________________________________________________________________________

Job Qualifications

 

Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification

 

Bachelor’s degree required, in social or human services related field preferred

 

Experience

 

One year of experience in a social services or related field requiredTwo years of experience in a quality analyst role preferred

 

Additional Work Requirements

 

Ability to work extended work hoursAutomobile travel required. Valid unrestricted driver’s license with good driving record. Valid proof of automobile insurance requiredAbility to travel to program locations
