We are seeking a Senior Director, AI Strategist and Product Management to lead our vision and strategy across Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Capture/Data Extraction product portfolios within the Content Management Business Unit. This senior leadership role will shape OpenText’s AI product roadmap and execution, driving innovation at scale across our enterprise SaaS solutions.
Location: Waterloo, ON - Hybrid in-office Tues, Wed & Thur (WFH: Monday & Friday)
Your Impact:
The ideal candidate is a visionary product leader and hands-on AI strategist — someone who combines deep technical expertise in AI and data science with proven experience leading global product and engineering teams to deliver transformative business outcomes.
What the role offers:
Define and lead the AI strategy for Content Management products, with a strong focus on Generative AI, Agentic AI, and intelligent content extraction.
Drive adoption of advanced multi-agent architectures and A2A frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph) to deliver adaptive enterprise AI solutions.
Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Data Science, and leadership teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performing AI capabilities aligned to business goals.
Mentor and inspire a global product management organization, fostering innovation, accountability, and a strong customer-centric culture.
Serve as a key AI thought leader representing the company at industry events, influencing AI vision while ensuring product roadmaps align with modern data and knowledge graph architectures
What you need to Succeed:
7+ years of experience in AI/ML and data science, including hands-on development and optimization of Agentic AI systems.
Deep proficiency with Agentic AI frameworks (MCP, A2A protocols, Google ADK, LangChain, LangGraph) and their application in enterprise environments.
Proven leadership of Product Management teams within enterprise software or cloud-based platforms, delivering strategic impact.
Strong knowledge of modern data architectures — Lakehouse, Data Fabric, and knowledge graphs — with expertise in managing unstructured data.
Experience improving generative AI reliability through context engineering, model grounding, and hallucination reduction techniques.
Outstanding communication and executive presence, skilled at influencing C-level stakeholders and driving measurable business outcomes.
