Position Summary

The Senior Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate DSD item pricing and store alignment across CVS systems. This role works cross-functionally with Merchandising, Pricing, Suppliers, and Store Operations to maintain accurate zone-level data, troubleshoot issues, and provide actionable insights that drive efficiency and compliance. The role also manages supplier onboarding for the DSD Vendor Portal, including document collection, ID creation, and training within the tool. 

The Sr. DSD Analyst directly supports the central DSD processes related to Small-PO, Scan Based Trading, ASN receiving, and final disposition. Additionally, this position contributes to DSD system enhancements by recommending improvements, performing user acceptance testing, documenting processes, and training internal teams.
 

Maintain correct item pricing, vendor, and store alignment in the DSD tool by completing requests submitted by internal and external business partners

Document and effectively communicate DSD system and Vendor Portal utilization guidelines and best practices

Research and resolve within SLA stores’ DSD item related Help Desk Calls

Deliver insights and recommendations based on data analysis, including validating or advising on maintenance requests from Category Management

Analyze category and item performance, zone structure, and duplicate entries. Take action to improve data organization and efficiency

Review DSD tool and supplier portal usage and propose solutions for identified opportunities

Collaborate with internal, cross-functional business partners to onboard and support utilization of DSD processes related to Small PO, SBT, ASN receiving, and DSD Credit final disposition programs.

Construct and present data to support recommendations to business partners such as Category Managers

Obtain required documentation from suppliers, manage DSD Vendor portal access, and train supplier personnel on system usage as needed

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of operational experience within Retail, Merchandising, Store Operations, or Supply Chain environments

2 years of utilizing Microsoft Office for reporting, analysis, and daily operations

1 year of SQL experience, including writing queries for data validation and analysis

Preferred Qualifications

 Completing requested tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to communicate effectively at all levels cross functionally and externally 

Strong time management and organizational skills to effectively and independently prioritize and manage multiple initiatives to maximize the business impact and adhere to deadlines

Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis, independently solve problems and/or recommend practical solutions.

Ability to participate in the design, build and implementation of sustainable processes intended to improve efficiency

Supply Chain Management processes and tools such as Blue Yonder Forecast and Replenishment, STIBO, Store systems and Mainframe RUMBA

Experience using Master Data Management systems

Proven ability to use data analysis to influence and drive decision-making and consensus across multiple levels within the organization

Education

High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
