Our client, a leader in technology solutions, is seeking a Sr. Desktop Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Desktop Engineer, you will be part of the Corporate IT department supporting the infrastructure and operations of endpoint technologies. The ideal candidate will have proactive thinking, complex problem-solving skills, and a strong technical background which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Sr. Desktop Engineer
**Location: Remote**
**What's the Job?**
+ Manage and maintain a large fleet of MacOS and Windows devices.
+ Package applications and secure operating systems to ensure proper functionality with security tools.
+ Develop and maintain scripts using Bash, Python, and PowerShell for automation and system tuning.
+ Analyze data and logs to make informed decisions and improve system performance.
+ Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
**What's Needed?**
+ Minimum of 10 years designing, building, and supporting desktop environments.
+ Expert level knowledge managing MacOS devices with Jamf or Kandji.
+ Strong skills in application packaging and securing operating systems using an automation-first mindset.
+ Expert level proficiency in Bash or Python and PowerShell scripting.
+ Experience in system tuning and performance optimization.
