Sr. Designer - Structural

Job Summary:

Onshore Designer to support our engineering and design team in delivering high-quality 3D and 2D design solutions for onshore oil & gas, petrochemical, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in layout and detailing using S3D, E3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation, with a proven track record of working on multidisciplinary design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and update 3D models and 2D drawings for piping, structural, and equipment layouts.Interpret and apply engineering specifications, P&IDs, and project standards.Coordinate with engineering disciplines to ensure design consistency and clash-free models.Generate fabrication, construction, and as-built drawings.Perform model reviews and participate in design coordination meetings.Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.Maintain drawing records and revision control throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.15+ years of experience in onshore design projects.Proficient in S3D (Smart 3D) and/or E3D (AVEVA Everything3D).Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation.Familiarity with onshore plant design standards and practices.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in refinery, petrochemical, or utility projects.Knowledge of PDMS or other 3D design tools is a plus.Exposure to construction or fabrication environments.
