Description
The Sr Creative Project Supervisor works independently assuming primary responsibility for planning, directing, coordinating and delivering project activities through the entire project life cycle that are broad in scope.
- This position is responsible for ensuring deadlines are efficiently and consistently met.
- Building relationships and managing expectations are key parts of this role.
- The Sr Creative Project Supervisor is also responsible for demonstrating the project focused culture at Mayo Clinic, and advises colleagues regarding project management practices, methods and standards.
- Performs continuous improvement projects for the division and department, and additional job-related functions as detailed by immediate supervisor.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience as a project owner in Workfront required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification nice to have, but not required.
- Demonstrated experience with project management software and/or reports.
- Experience in project management within an agency or within a corporate creative division.
- Experience with project management of digital, video and other creative and communications disciplines preferred.
- Experience managing accounts in excess of 5M preferred.
- Capable of managing multiple accounts or service lines simultaneously.
- Must be able to maintain excellent relationships and thoughtful rapport with stakeholders from each group, and maintain a level of respect between the creative team and cross-functional teams.
- Must be a thought-leader with the ability to pivot quickly while keeping goals front and center.
- Calls upon several years of experience to manage projects, and is competent in the implementation of project results.
- Must have strong business acumen with the ability to work with people from diverse functional backgrounds and build relationships across the organization.
- Must have strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
- The Project Manager must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be extremely organized.
- Must be a consistent, accountable team player who leads by positive example insuring solid chemistry, and has zero ego or attitude.
- Requires a driven work ethic, a responsibility to the brand, and a desire to contribute to the collaborative culture at Mayo Clinic.
- Must have a passion for project management and solving business objectives with creative solutions.
Education preference:
- Project management, graphic design, business analysis, business administration, creative management.
- Two (2) or more years of experience using Workfront or similar project management platform preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree with ten (15) years of experience in Project Management and business-related activities
OR
- Master's degree with five (5) years of experience in Project Management related activities.

This is a Contract position based out of Rochester, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
