What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll contribute as a Technical Lead in Application Operations supporting the Financial Crimes portfolio within Enterprise Technology by successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects involving Container and Cloud development. As a Senior Consultant in Application Operations you will design, build, implement and maintain easy, flexible, and personalized solutions that enhance systems. As you lead the planning and strategy for the technical design, working directly with development teams and integrate these applications and tools into production, you’ll help build the future of data protection services at the bank. You will be building pipelines, making connections, gathering artifacts for Audit and compliance and providing technical guidance and leadership to a large team. The role focuses on supporting key programs including Enterprise Anti Money Laundering (EAML), Technology Delivery and Tech-Compliance in the arenas of Audit, Governance and Regulatory requirements and supporting critical applications including SLMS- Sanctions List Management & Screening, FLCM- Fraud Loss Case Management within the Financial Crimes Portfolio.
This position requires On-Call support 24/7/365 for critical issues and 2nd level escalations.

How You’ll Succeed
Strategic Development & Execution - Manage the operations of multiple applications within Enterprise Technology. Be a central point of contact for production issues both within the applications that are supported and with respect to cross LOB (Line of Business) applications that use/provide services or infrastructure. Continually build and improve application health checks and monitoring and maintaining all applications currency. Collaborate with our Development, Engineering and Infrastructure groups to ensure new services being introduced to production are executing within capacity boundaries. Participate and contribute to annual capacity planning exercises. Manage deviations, audit and their remediation. Participate in the migration of applications from their on-premises to Cloud/Azure locations.
Continuous Improvement – Build, monitor & report alerting processes, continually improve and maintain all performance related processes for your respective applications. Identify opportunities for development and automation that will contribute to the improvement of Operational Excellence. Work directly with front line support groups such as DXC Operations.
Relationship Management – Manage CCR plans and liaison with Development peers to ensure that all applications are kept at a N-1 state, this applies to hardware and software versions. Manage and maintain Vendor managed services whilst consistently looking for performance improvements and assessing and reporting on SLA’s. Maintain constructive relations with internal partners (Business/Development/QA/Engineering/PMO) and external partners as appropriate.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate experience in 5-7 years of hands-on Azure Cloud experience. Technical experience with: Unix/Linux, Bash Shell Scripting, JavaScript, Python/Go Programming, Ansible, MSSQL, Oracle, Object Stores, Docker/OpenShift/Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines. You have strong knowledge of: Container Image builds and DevOps integration. Experience with Production Application support a plus.
