What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the Virtual Network Engineering team within CIBC Cloud Engineering and Transformation group. As a Senior Network Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the design, maintenance and troubleshooting of CIBC Virtual Networks and load balancing. You will be a subject matter expert on network and load balancing designs and provide advisory to project teams.

How You’ll Succeed
Leadership Skills: Act as the network team lead and provide advisory and expertise to ensure the project is on track to meet objectives. Support other team members by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.
Communication Skills: You are a strong written/verbal communicator who is willing to speak up to ensure clear communication channels with team members and other teams. You are able to clearly communicate with different team members and teams while also being able to communicate to executive leadership when required.
Technological Knowledge: Demonstrate strong technical experience in Networks Engineering planning and design, utilizing your skillset in a leadership capacity to drive progress and provide resolution to any issues that may arise.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate 8+ years' experience in a large enterprise environment and practical working knowledge of networking, network security, Firewalls (NSX, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint) and VPN, and routers and switches (Cisco) , and Knowledge of network Analytical tools ( VMware Operations for Networking, VMware Operations for Logs ,Netbrain ). It is an asset if you have experience with network automation, load balancing (F5, Avi), API programming, and Cloud (Azure, AWS). You have expert experience in highly available/resilient wide-area networking architecture and design. Your knowledge of WAN technologies (MPLS/IPVPN/SDWAN), IPAM, DNS (Infoblox) NTP . You have advance knowledge and experience with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VXLAN.
