The Role:
As a Sr. Connectivity Systems Engineer, you will:
- Define wireless test plans for consumer electronics devices
- Define key performance metric and drive wireless validation and end-to-end system performance
- Perform gap analysis and system performance optimization across radio, PHY, MAC, firmware and software.
About the team
Edge Technology Integrity (ETI) Organization is responsible towards ensuring hardware and software quality of our devices is met across Wireless, Audio, Camera and Sensor technologies. We are not limited to meeting integrity per technology but are also responsible to meet system level performance, and specs when various technologies co-exist in certain customer scenario. We conduct competitor benchmarking and deliver key insights to technology teams, enabling us to anticipate market trends and drive innovation. We leverage and drive internal quality standards and international specifications, providing value across the organization and industry.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in Wireless and RF
- Experience in Wi-Fi/BT/BLE/ZigBee/WAN
- Experience with scripting languages and simulation tools such as Python, MatLab, and etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Experience with mmWave Radar technology.
- Experience with wireless (Wi-Fi/BT/BLE/ZigBee) protocols
- Experience with 5G/4G phy layer and protocol
- Knowledge and understanding of 3GPP specs
- Experience with design and debug of Multi-Radio coexistence systems
- Experience with Network Simulators and PHY/MAC layer modeling
- Hands on Experience with WiFi, Bluetooth and ZigBee Sniffer Analysis
- Experience using RF test equipment such as network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, power meter, oscilloscope and test boxes such as CMW500 and LitePoint IQ20xx.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
