Our client, a leader in the motorsport industry, is seeking a Sr. Chassis Designer to join their team. As a Sr. Chassis Designer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative vehicle design projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: Sr. Chassis Designer**
**Location: Santa Clarita, CA**
**Pay Range: $100,000 – $130,000**
**What's the Job?**
+ Creating and analyzing design concepts for race car vehicle design.
+ Developing CAD models and detailed drawings for various components.
+ Interpreting test results to inform design decisions.
+ Planning and completing assigned engineering projects efficiently.
+ Mentoring junior engineers to foster their professional growth.
**What's Needed?**
+ 5–7 years of direct design experience in motorsport vehicles and systems.
+ Extensive experience with CAD software modeling of race car components.
+ Strong design analytical skills and knowledge of engineering principles.
+ Experience evaluating and implementing design changes and specifications.
+ Proficient with workstation hardware and CAD software for design documentation.
