Enterprise Payments Technology is responsible for development of technology strategy and delivery of payments initiatives, in alignment with industry mandates, internal business drivers, as well as business and technology Target Operating Model (TOM), to provide best in class payments solutions and user experience for our customers. We are an experienced agile technology team, utilizing some of the latest technologies to build payments platform capabilities serving TD customers to move money from and to anywhere – reliably, transparently, securely, and efficiently. We look for talented individuals with deep passion for technology, purposeful innovation, desire to learn, and a great sense of ownership and accountability. **Job Description** We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst that is passionate about designing and building useful, working software that will have a real impact on the way our bank does business. This is an opportunity to influence strategic technology solutions in the Enterprise Payments Technology space. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a new payment processing engine and payments operations portal. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies to solve problems of scale and speed. **Responsibilities** + Engage with stakeholders and Product Owners to understand email money transfer payment product needs and objectives. + Elicit, document, and validate detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure a comprehensive understanding of client requirements. + Participate and lead when required Agile (Scrum) ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Refinement, and Retrospectives. + Collaborate with the Product Owner and the Development team to build and refine the product backlog and prioritize user stories for efficient development. + Work closely with Developers to create data dictionaries, document data flows / mapping, and create process flow diagrams. + Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and technical teams. + Bridge the gap between technical and non-technical team members, ensuring that product features are accurately translated into technical specifications. + Collaborate with Quality Assurance Engineers to define test scenarios for user stories. + Support the testing process to ensure the delivery of high-quality email money transfer payment products, including participation in defect triage sessions. + Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance product features, and optimize email money transfer payment processes. + Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows. **Skills and Qualifications** Must Have + Minimum of 6 years of experience in business systems analysis, with hands-on experience in Canadian payment systems and Agile software development. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail. + Ability to turn complex business requirements into actionable user stories with acceptance criteria using Gherkin syntax. + Practical experience with Atlassian Confluence and Jira, and a deep understanding of the tools' capabilities such as the ability to create filters and quick filters is required. + Superior understanding of financial data, sequence diagrams, and REST API contracts is required. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. + Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional pod teams and foster a positive and innovative team environment. + A customer-centric approach with a dedication to delivering exceptional products that meet and exceed client expectations. + A proactive mindset and ability to work through ambiguity and change. + A passion for learning and developing their knowledge of the Canadian payments landscape.
