Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business System Analyst that will work currency project at TD Securities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the understating the current work flow and translating that to system requirements for Developers. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies to solve problems of scale and speed. As a BSA who will be working on the currency project, you will be focusing on migrating on prem application to cloud. Meaningful work is fueled by the ability to optimize and improve the current ETL. Some of the responsibility of this role includes:

Responsibilities

Work closely with system architects and development teams to convert the business requirements documents into detailed specifications, examples, and test cases to be consumed by the development team.

Understanding the current ETL and translate it to requirements for developers.

Collaborate closely with developers during requirement walkthroughs.

Perform extensive regression testing post code development and review & document results.

Investigate and analyze problems, including the use of change impact analysis on all systems and business areas in order to recommend appropriate solutions.

Analyze source system feeds (e.g. Calypso, SOPHIS, Murex…etc) and database results to identify implementation gaps and data requirements.

Maintain on-going communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Actively participate and/or manage Business Acceptance Testing and User Acceptance Testing

Desired Skillsets:

Previous experience with data analysis tools, like Python is an asset.

Excellent knowledge of Securities and Market Risk metrics (Greeks, PnL)

Superior written and verbal communication skills are essential

Able to communicate effectively and concisely with business stakeholders

Exceptional attention to detail

Proficiency in-depth data analysis using SQL and Excel.

Strong quantitative skills

Experience in functional and UAT testing with users
