We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) to join the Pickup and Returns team. This BDM will focus on expanding the locker and counter footprint across the US & CA by building enterprise partnerships to scale locations and increase Pickup Point adoption. Our partners want to work with us to host pickup points so they can offer the latest convenience for their customers. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of partners that include national and franchisee locations. Key job responsibilities Secure and expand strategic partnerships through enterprise customer acquisition to meet network expansion targets, improve customer experience, and increase delivery profitability. Be responsible for the executive engagement at all levels of your business as well as acquiring similar new partnerships. Build strong relationships with internal Amazon partners through clear articulation of the business value proposition, looking for opportunities to surprise and delight our clients and end customer. Own and assess vertical strategy to identify industry trends/market insights to incorporate into overall commercial strategy and refine go-to-market offers with existing products. Provide strategic input to product roadmap and develop innovative commercial models that enhance offerings, drive competitive differentiation in the market, and improve customer experience. A day in the life Day to day responsibilities include utilizing data to assess, negotiate and expand long term partnerships that will increase the network of pickup and return points for customers. In addition, providing new opportunities to existing relationships that will elevate partnerships that will increase foot traffic and value. About the team Amazon PARP is a worldwide network of pickup and return locations. The program enables any business with a physical location to offer secure package pickup and returns to Amazon customers, and in-turn reap benefits from the potential increase in foot traffic and sales at their location. Our Hub partners can select from various product solutions, including Lockers, Counters and Apartment Lockers, to serve customers in their neighborhood. Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience - 5+ years of professional or military experience - Bachelor's degree - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
