DESCRIPTION

Michael Baker International is seeking a Senior Aviation Civil Engineer/Project Manager, based in our Lakewood, Colorado office, to lead aviation infrastructure projects across Colorado and beyond!

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our aviation practice in Colorado, working closely with regional leadership to expand our impact and capabilities. This is a strategic leadership opportunity focused on:

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Lead airside and landside infrastructure projects from concept through construction Serve as a senior technical expert and client liaison Develop scopes, budgets, and schedules while ensuring quality and safety Drive business development and help grow our aviation footprint in the region Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of innovation and inclusion

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field 10+ years of aviation engineering experience PE License in Colorado required Strong knowledge of FAA Design Circulars and airfield geometric layout Experience with airfield pavements, hangars, utilities, and airport support facilities Strong understanding of FAA Design Circulars and Construction Specifications, and a background in geometric layout of airfield facilities. Excellent communication and leadership skills

COMPENSATION

The approximate compensation range for this position is $131,000 to $228,000.  This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.  Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
