DoorDash is looking for an analytical and entrepreneurial operator to join our US Marketplace Growth team that is responsible for accelerating growth across US markets, understanding current performance trends, and supporting strategic business planning. You will dive into data to explain performance at the lowest level of detail, use AI tools to drive reporting efficiency, work with cross-functional partners to report out and explain performance, build strategic business plans, and support ad-hoc strategic projects.
About the RoleThe Senior Associate, Marketplace Analytics & Planning role is for truth seekers who enjoy getting into the weeds of data, driving insights on business performance trends, using AI to drive efficiency, working across a cross-functional organization and holding others accountable for key deliverables, and executing to bring strategies to life. You will directly support performance management, reporting, and planning for DoorDash’s largest business unit.
On a typical day, you will dive into data to explain performance at the lowest level of detail, work with cross functional teams to build reporting and performance updates for senior leadership, think up new ideas and translate them into an actionable test or new reporting mechanism, and drive the creating of strategic plans that drive execution throughout the business.
Our best Strategy & Planning Sr. Associates are motivated, analytical, creative, and have exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills. We are currently operating in a hybrid model, some time in-office and some time remote but it is quite flexible!

You use a variety of AI tools (e.g. Cursor) to improve analytics tooling You’re action-oriented – You have a bias towards action, are comfortable with ambiguity, and are able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment You’re creative – You love thinking about new problems, and don't resort to a "this is how it's always been done" thinking. You’re a collaborator and relationship builder – You are an excellent communicator and eager to build relationships with teammates and cross-functional partners. You have an ability to lead with empathy while also holding cross functional partners accountable for key deliverables You have analytics experience in SQL, building financial models, and performance tracking You have a BA/BS degree in quantitative or business fields
