Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Sr. Analyst, Application Development to design, deliver, and drive key technical activities for small and large software applications engineering projects across multiple technical environments. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality application design. Collaborate with peer organizations, quality assurance, and end users to produce cutting-edge software solutions. Involved throughout the entire development life cycle of software product and deliver efficient solution, identifying and mitigating any risks to the product before deployment to production. Deliver innovative software solutions which meet business needs and opportunities by integrating information, business process refinement, and technology. Identify opportunities to increase internal process efficiency by applying novel technology concepts to existing business processes. Serve as technical contributor in the design of new software applications or enhancements of existing software solutions. Translate business requirements into technical specifications, independently designing and coding system functionality, and developing cost-effective applications and program solutions. Work with the Safe Agile development team(s) for building digital personalization products, partnering with product team(s) to translate product strategy into high-performance code and in creating advanced capabilities. Participate in PI feature scoping (PI) and discovery and help translates user features into application design. Iteration planning to help create solid backlog with technical input in close partnership with product team. Contribute and participate in daily cross functional team standups and end of iteration retrospectives. Define, design, and implement state of the art web applications using latest UI frameworks for user centered customer experience. Research, architect and develop innovative digital solutions to engineer highly responsive and engaging web and mobile front ends. Work closely with Product Owners to provide project estimates based on customer experience, features and envisioned solutions. Build reusable code and libraries for future use. Implement prototypes to evaluate solutions and ensure technical feasibility of designs. Ensure architecture and designs are aligned with overall Enterprise Architecture guidelines. Apply expertise in Agile Software Framework, responsive UI design and development, Web Related Technologies, Programming Languages, .Net Technologies, Technical Tools, Web and Application Servers, and Database Servers. Work with CI/CD pipeline, GIT, Stash, Bit Bucket, Artifactory, and/or Jenkins. Apply knowledge of web security. Participate in unit and integrated testing, including test data creation, to support high-quality code development and the absence of defects prior to code promotion. Develop detailed technical understanding of all related systems and the associated infrastructure and identifying opportunities for improvements/enhancements to become a data-driven organization. Submit recommendations for software process or infrastructure improvements to reduce overhead or reduce technical debt, by converting abstract ideas into solutions, where applicable. Participate in feature scoping, discovery, and translate user features into application design. Work in a fluid environment, defining and owning engineering priorities that adapt to our larger goals, communicating effectively with business partners. Telecommuting available. -
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology Management, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: GIT; Rally; SQL; PowerBI; Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting; Writing application code and deploying to production; Developing backend services, performing code reviews, and collaborating with peers on software development solutions; Data analytics on large data sets in healthcare, business, or retail sector; ETL processes; Designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases; Data warehousing; and Healthcare data management processes and techniques, including data standards, interoperability, and proper data privacy.
Pay Range: $110,406.00/year to $126,000.00/year.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
