Job Description

Responsibility:

Strategic Management:

Oversee the strategic planning and execution of alliance agreements.Ensure alignment of alliance goals with Takeda's strategic objectives.Identify and mitigate risks associated with alliances.

Operational Oversight:

Manage day-to-day operations of alliance agreements.Monitor the progress of collaborations and ensure milestones are met.Coordinate with internal teams to support alliance activities.

Communication & Collaboration:

Maintain effective communication channels with external partners.Foster a collaborative environment to ensure mutual benefit.Facilitate regular meetings and updates between Takeda and its partners.

Performance Management:

Track and report on the performance of alliance agreements.Conduct regular reviews and assessments of partnerships.Implement corrective actions when necessary to address issues or enhance performance

Capability Enhancement

Develop and implement strategies to enhance Takeda’s alliance management capabilities.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in alliance management.Provide training and support to internal teams on alliance management practices

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) preferredProven experience in alliance management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry’s regulatory environment.Ability to travel as required to meet with partners and stakeholders.
