Sr. Accountant - SAP Details:

Direct Hire position$40.00 to $55.00 /hourFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAPPrepare, review, and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and intercompany transactionsPerform detailed general ledger account reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepanciesOversee fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, disposals, and monthly depreciation entriesMaintain and update amortization and lease schedules; post lease-related journal entries and reconcile related GL accountsCoordinate with internal and external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits, leading audit preparation effortsPrepare comparative balance sheet and income statement variance analyses and provide clear explanations to stakeholdersCollaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure audit requests and financial inquiries are addressed accurately and on timeContribute to continuous improvement initiatives by developing and enhancing accounting workflows and close processes to improve efficiency and accuracy

Sr. Accountant - SAP Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or audit role.5+ years of SAP experience required.Demonstrated expertise in MS Office, especially Excel.Experience working in rebate accounting/support in finance at an agricultural chemical manufacturer, life sciences, or pharmaceutical company desired.Good planning and organizational skills, with close attention to detail.Ability to manage confidential information.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
