Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic team in Bloomington, Minnesota. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded. • Reconcile accounts and bank statements to maintain financial accuracy and integrity. • Maintain and update the general ledger to support precise accounting operations. • Collaborate on international accounting tasks and consolidations to meet global financial standards. • Provide detailed analysis and support for financial audits and compliance requirements. • Assist in developing and improving accounting processes to enhance efficiency. • Generate reports and financial statements to aid in decision-making processes. • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all accounting functions. • Support cross-functional teams with financial insights and expertise. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required. • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience with a strong attention to detail. • Strong proficiency in month-end close, account reconciliation, and general ledger management. • Background in public accounting, particularly with Big 4 firms, is a plus. • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail. • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. • Familiarity with accounting software and tools to streamline financial operations.
