Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Naples, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities: • Prepare and manage month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all entries are up-to-date and accurate. • Create and review journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. • Reconcile accounts and ensure all discrepancies are promptly resolved. • Conduct bank reconciliations to verify transaction accuracy and maintain financial integrity. • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes. • Assist in audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries. • Develop and maintain accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Monitor financial activities to ensure alignment with company policies and regulations. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accounting processes. Requirements • Proven experience in accounting, specifically in month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance. • Strong knowledge of journal entries, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation procedures. • Proficiency in accounting software and tools. • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities. • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and other departments. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
