Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team in Waller, Texas. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial analysis, account reconciliation, and compliance. The ideal candidate will excel in managing financial processes and ensuring accuracy while supporting broader organizational objectives. Responsibilities: • Prepare and record journal entries with precision, ensuring accuracy within the established accounting system. • Maintain thorough documentation of revenue streams and expense transactions to support financial integrity. • Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly. • Oversee month-end closing procedures, meeting deadlines and ensuring compliance with organizational standards. • Support audits by collaborating with internal and external auditors, providing required documentation and insights. • Conduct financial analysis and participate in special projects to enhance operational efficiency. • Uphold internal controls and ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures. • Perform invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions with accuracy and timeliness. • Analyze financial statements and operating results, explaining variances and identifying trends. • Execute manual reconciliations and balance sheet reviews to ensure data accuracy and compliance. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior-level role. • Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management. • Strong expertise in account reconciliation and financial analysis. • Experience with project cost accounting and budget comparisons. • Advanced knowledge of SAP is required. • Familiarity with internal controls and compliance standards. • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data to support decision-making. • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
