**ESSENTIAL** **DUTIES:**
The Senior Accountant for the IH&S Accounting Controls & Compliance team plays a critical role in managing and executing a wide range of accounting functions that support business operations. This includes participating the monthly close process, contributing to forecasting and analysis efforts, and ensuring adherence to Corporate financial policies. The position also ensures compliance through audit support and manages key operational areas such as prepaids and accruals, supplier master data maintenance, and training team members on related procedures. As a strategic partner, the Senior Accountant collaborates across departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and drives operational efficiency throughout the organization.
Responsibilities Include:
+ Monthly close activities including preparing journal entries, reviewing trial balances, completing account reconciliations, and uploading supplemental data to OneStream as needed.
+ Primary responsibility for balance sheet accounts including prepaids and accruals.
+ Primary responsibility for lease accounting across multiple operating sites.
+ Monitors ERP system integrity reports and addresses any reporting issues.
+ Assists with monthly sales reconciliation and multi-state sales and use tax filings.
+ Responsible for performance of key internal compliance controls on a recurring basis.
+ Participates and supports audit requests: Internal (SOX self-assessments) and external audits.
+ Primary responsibility for maintaining Supplier Master data across IH&S.
+ Assists with monthly forecasting and AOP.
+ Improves accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes.
+ Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
+ Participates in inter-departmental projects as required to support business decisions.
+ Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
+ Assist with other accounting duties as needed.
**EDUCATION AND** **EXPERIENCE:**
+ Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with 3-5 years of experience
+ Experience in ERP systems (JDE preferred)
+ Experience with OneStream or other consolidated reporting systems preferred
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
+ Superior verbal and written communication skills to work effectively outside the accounting department
+ Consistently operates at the highest level of integrity and is never willing to compromise with regards to ethical standards.
+ Flexibility in work schedule as overtime is required based on business needs
+ Operations literacy
+ Excellent Excel skills
+ Strong focus on policy and internal controls
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
+ Occasional travel may be needed
**Employment Compensation**
This role is classified as exempt. While the full pay range is listed below, we are targeting a hiring range of $90,000-100,000 based on experience and internal equity.

**Total Rewards**
The compensation range for this position is $88,200.00 - $132,200.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
