**Senior Accountant – A/R and Billing**
Team is looking for government billing experience of 8-10 years and solid experience in Costpoint. Not ADP. **GovCon is required** . We would also like to see candidates that have invested at least a few years with organizations in their prior work experience.
Ideal person should have experience **Cost Plus Fixed Fee contracts experience** , which constitute most of our contracts. Also, **CostPoint A/R, which is what we use to generate invoices** . **We have about 35-40 CPFF invoices to prepare in 4 days for each month.**
Below are the must haves of this role.
1. BS degree in Accounting…….. MUST
2. At least 3-4 years’ experience in Government Contracting Billing/Project …….. MUST
3. At least 3-4 years Costpoint experience…… MUST
**Job Description and Responsibilities**
Responsibilities:
+ Be responsible for Cash Receipts Function, including daily cash receipt data entry and filing.
+ Be responsible for monthly Billing cycle, including manual invoices preparation, posting and maintaining documents.
+ Perform the Revenue Recognition on contract basis monthly.
+ Be the custodian of Project module, including new project set up, updates and maintenance.
+ Prepare Project monthly financial summary reports.
+ Coordinate accounting month-end and year-end closing process.
+ Assist Year-end audits.
+ Respond to special requests.
Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
+ 4+ years of experience in accounting, or a related field.
+ 3+ years of experience in Costpoint accounting software.
+ Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
+ Collaboration and teamwork skills.
+ Great customer and interpersonal skills.
+ Strong organization and time management skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
+ Excellent oral and written communications skills.
