Sr Tax Manager
Job Title: Sr Tax ManagerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sr Tax Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a tax-focused CPA with at least five years of public accounting experience. The position offers a hybrid work schedule with a flexible arrangement, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. You will play a critical role in understanding our clients' business and tax environments, providing proactive, year-round tax planning solutions.

ResponsibilitiesPerform technical reviews of various types and complexities of tax returns.Manage client relationships by assessing their needs and developing strategic solutions.Prepare complex business, fiduciary, and individual tax returns.Mentor and assist in the growth, development, and training of other tax staff.Engage in business development activities to expand client base.
Essential SkillsMinimum of five years of public accounting experience.Active CPA certification or recently expired, with assistance available for reactivation.Solid experience in corporate tax preparation, planning, and multi-state, high net-worth tax returns.Proficiency with CHH ProSystem software and Microsoft Excel.Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with fixed asset software.Experience working with construction or non-profit client bases.Ability to work within a mid-sized or large-sized firm.
