This position identifies and implements automation of technologies and processes to improve the reliability, efficiency, and availability of the systems environment. This person leads junior team members in design, development, architecture, and project management. The Windows Automation Team is responsible for managing, maintaining and supporting the UPS Windows infrastructure, which comprises of 250,000+ Workstations and Servers globally, including the Corporate Data Centers. The core mission of the Windows Automation Team is to provide Windows based programmatic solutions to UPS where existing solutions do not exist or are cost prohibitive. The WAID team is responsible for developing and maintaining systems such as the UPS Windows Deployment System (COSMIC), the LOEv3 Environment Automation as well as various other tools and systems. The Windows Automation Team is looking for an agile, forward-looking developer who is ready to lead the creation of innovative solutions while being able to quickly change direction when necessary to support the global Windows Infrastructure. The base pay for this position ranges from $84,900/year to $157,320/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position.
