As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative software for the next generation of broadband gateways serving 15 million+ customers. You willleverageyourexpertisein development testing to drive technical excellence, implement advanced testing methodologies—including AI-driven approaches—and uphold a quality-first mindset throughout the software lifecycle. What You'll do:
Conduct development testing for new features in an Agile development environment.
Create test plans, writeautomationsand executetesting on daily check-ins and new features prior to handingoffto end certification lab.
Workcloselywiththe developmentteam tovalidatesoftware functionality and stability.
Characterize the before and afterfunctionalityof new softwarechanges looking for different behaviors or a change in resource usage.
Validate documentation provided for new features.
Provide and managedevelopmentCPE, connected to Network equipment for development.
What You'll Need:
Proficientinpythonprogramming language.
Experience with test equipmentand protocolsincludingSpirentOctobox,ViaviTestCenter, ViaviCyberflood,iPerf,Robot test Framework.
Good understanding of Broadband and Mobility Networks.
Experience with embeddedlinuxdevices and software development.
Interested in ongoing development and learningnew technologies.
Works well in high stress environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using AI to implement test plans and automation.
Understandingofprogramming languages including C.
Understanding ofHome Networks and associated technologies.
Experience with device certification and performance testing.
Our Sr Specialist Quality Assurance, earns between $87,200-$130,800 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
