**Job Description:** **Release/Program Manager** (preferably in the Telecom industry) **Job Title** : Sr Specialist Application Development **Location** : Bengaluru/Hyderabad **Experience** : 10+ years in software release management, program management, and project delivery **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dynamic release/program manager to lead the execution, coordination, and successful delivery of complex software programs and releases. This role combines technical release management with end-to-end program leadership, ensuring seamless delivery from code creation to deployment, and managing large-scale, distributed program environments. **Key Responsibilities:** Release, Program & Project Delivery: + Drive end-to-end project execution and release delivery, ensuring best practices are followed across the account. + Define and implement technical strategies for seamless, automated delivery pipelines from code creation to production deployment. + Collaborate with deployment managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality releases. + Develop and track automated reports, metrics, and statistics to monitor and improve delivery processes. + Oversee products configuration and business process alignment with release goals. + Champion a deployment-oriented approach to maximize operational efficiency. + Lead stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management across diverse teams and partners. + Provide escalation management and resolution for program-level risks and issues. + Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage dependencies, and ensure program alignment with business objectives. + Drive continuous improvement and transformation within the organization and service delivery. **Experience & Skills Required:** + 10+ years of relevant experience in software release management, program management, and project delivery. + Strong understanding of the telecom business domain (Billing, Order Capture, Revenue Assurance, Service Activation, etc.). + Strong Knowledge of cloud, microservices, APIs, and modern deployment architectures. + Proven track record of delivering complex projects/programs in distributed, multi-vendor environments. + Deep knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, DevOps, and automated release pipelines. + Experience in stakeholder/customer engagement and management. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. + Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. + Familiarity with program management concepts, tools, and best practices. + Experience with program and release management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Jenkins, Git). + Deployment-oriented and transformation-driven approach. **Good to Have:** + Experience in large-scale digital transformation programs within the telecom sector. + Knowledge of cloud, microservices, APIs, and modern deployment architectures. + Exposure to regulatory compliance, audit, and change management. + PMP, Agile, or related professional certifications. + Telecom domain expertise (Billing, Order Capture, Revenue Assurance, Service Activation). **Weekly Hours:** 40 **Time Type:** Regular **Location:** Bangalore, India It is the policy of AT&T to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
