The Senior Specialist – HR is responsible for leading HR Operations for the Gurgaon location supporting Commercial and the Shared Services Center, serving 400+ employees. This role ensures smooth HR processes across the employee lifecycle while partnering with business teams to resolve employee relations issues, support talent initiatives, and implement HR programs. The role works closely with COEs, and cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, compliance, and employee experience.
HR Operations (60%)Employee Lifecycle ManagementLead end-to-end HR operations for Commercial and Shared Services Center.Oversee onboarding and exit processes, including documentation, HRIS updates, and coordination with stakeholders.Manage payroll inputs and partner with the outsourced payroll agency to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.Compensation & BenefitsAdminister MICP and Annual Compensation Review (ACR) payouts.Manage employee benefits such as group medical insurance, life insurance, GPA, and social security programs.Coordinate with vendors and ensure timely enrollments, updates, and issue resolution.Compliance & AuditsEnsure HR compliance with labour laws, statutory guidelines, tax laws, and social security regulations.Manage internal and external HR audits: prepare audit data, address observations, and drive corrective actions.Support ongoing HR employee relations matters in coordination with BHR.Vendor & Stakeholder ManagementManage relationships with HR vendors (meal card, NPS, car lease, insurance, payroll, etc.).Collaborate with Finance, Legal, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless HR operations.HR Business Partnering (40%)Support Workforce PlanningPartner with business leaders to understand short‑ and long‑term talent needs to support and plan their hiring needs.Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure position gets filled as per targetEnd‑to‑End Employee Lifecycle ManagementOversee the complete employee lifecycle—from hiring, onboarding, confirmations, and transfers to exit management.Ensure seamless coordination with TA, and other COEs for timely and accurate execution.Monitor employee experience across touchpoints and drive continuous improvements.Stakeholder ManagementAct as a trusted advisor to business leaders on people-related matters.Partner closely with COE teams (TA, L&D, C&B, HR Ops) to deliver unified HR solutions.Facilitate regular touchpoints with employees to understand concerns and escalate issues where needed.Influence and guide leaders through people decisions, change initiatives, and organizational priorities.Performance Management & Talent Reviews (Including Compensation & Rewards Advisory)Guide managers on goal-setting, mid-year discussions, and annual performance evaluations.Lead talent review processes—identifying high performers, successors, and development needs.Partner and support people manager’s to support increment cycles, bonus decisions, and pay recommendations aligned with internal equity and benchmarks.Advise managers on reward decisions, ensuring fairness, consistency, and policy adherence.Track employee performance outcomes to support managers to manage performance related issues through PIP.Data‑Driven HR InsightsUse HR analytics to generate insights on attrition, talent movement, and other talent insights.Build dashboards and business reviews to support leader decision-making.Identify trends and provide proactive recommendations on risk areas (e.g., high attrition, engagement dips, skill gaps).Talent ManagementIdentify skill gaps and recommend capability-building interventions.Support career development discussions and internal mobility pathways.Manage development plans for high-potential employees and critical roles.Driving HR Initiatives & Employee EngagementLead engagement activities—R&R programs, team connects, culture-building interventions, and pulse surveys.Analyze engagement data and partner with leaders to implement action plans for team health and morale.Promote a positive, inclusive, and employee‑centric work environment.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; MBA preferred.6–9 years of experience in HR Operations & HRBP roles.Strong knowledge of HR processes, payroll, benefits, and labour laws.Experience working with HRIS (e.g., PeopleSoft).Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with integrity.Equal Employment Opportunity
