Department OverviewAdvanced Technology (Standards) group:

Develop and advance technology to ensure 3GPP standard compliance for Motorola's Unified Communication Product suite. The team develops various software tools and capabilities to facilitate the integration of 3GPP defined Mission Critical Services(MCS) Standard based features for Various partners/customers worldwide. Work with customers integrate with MSI Mission Critical Server using 3GPP Standards based interfaces for a vast set of features and functionalities including MCPTT, MCData, MCVIDEO and MC Common Services ID Management, Group, Group/Config Management, Location Services.
Job Description

Great opportunity for aspiring development professionals to be exposed to international industry experts in the area of Mission Critical Voice, Data and Video communications, while also being hands-on to implement and showcase various end-to-end use cases.

Analyzes, develops, designs, and maintains software for the organization’s products and systems. Performs system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency. Develops, validates, and tests: structures and user documentation.

Must have requirements:

Hands on 3-6 years of experience in development using /C#, net, Java and C++ on Windows or Linux/Unix environment.

 Full understanding of compile/build tools in both Linux or  Windows environments.

Domain knowledge in WPF/HTTP/ECC/OIDC/XML//JSON/C++/C/github

Knowledge in VoIP/Video streaming fundamentals and multithreaded applications.

Basic knowledge of Networking Protocols/technology  – HTTP, TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, SSL, Firewall/NAT.e.tc

Flexible to work with overlapping schedules with US and UK/Europe time zone

Preferred Skills:

Experience in debugging based on Wireshark/tcpdump and very good understanding of VoIP Architecture, protocols, standards and applications – SIP/RTP/RTCP/SRTP/Sockets/HTTP

Familiarity with 3GPP Mission Critical Standards and IETF RFCs

Knowledge on Video streaming/application development

Encryption/Security AES-GCM, Mikey-Sakke protocols, XML Signature/XML encryption

Familiar with Azure cloud environments and tools

Knowledge of Databases and Database interactions

Scripting languages such as python

Experiences in agile/scrum process


Basic Requirements
