·To prepare, execute and monitor Environmental and safety plant operation procedures, programs, policy and guidelines.

·To ensure smooth operation of ZLD Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) & captive incinerator.

·To ensure legal compliances related to Environmental & safety Law are followed.

·To conduct risk assessment & aspect and impact assessment for all operational activities.

·To ensure smooth operation and processes in each shift.

·To assist management for government inspection, regulatory and non-regulatory audits, assessment.

·To ensure and make follow state pollution control board norms as per consent.

·To provide trainings, drills, awareness programs to employees at all level within the organization.

·To ensure preparedness and readiness of fire protection system such as fire hydrant pump, sprinkler system, portable fire extinguishers,

·To ensure hazardous waste management procedure to be followed as per regulatory requirements.

·To serve as primary contact with all for all regulatory agencies or for visit of government officials for inspections, to obtain permit etc. (air, water, waste management).

·To ensure regulatory reporting i.e. data collection regarding environmental & safety aspects as per compliance and its activities to government agencies as and when required.

·To ensure the company meets all its legislative compliance as per regulatory & statutory requirements in line with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), International Organization for Standardization (ISO) etc.

·To measure and monitor environmental parameters such as noise, illumination, air quality across the plant and maintain the same as per statutory guidelines.

·To plan environment & safety crisis management training for all the personnel and execute the same.
