Our client, an Automation & Engineering Firm, is seeking a Sr Project Manager Control Systems to join their team. As a Sr Project Manager Control Systems, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Sr Project Manager Control Systems
**Location:** Sugar Land, TX
**Pay Range:** $160,000.00 to $180,000.00 Annually
**What's the Job?**
+ Lead and manage control systems engineering and design projects from inception to completion.
+ Collaborate with client personnel to ensure successful project outcomes and maintain regular communication.
+ Oversee instrument specification development, field instrument installation requirements, and P&ID development.
+ Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures while promoting a culture of safety within the team.
+ Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers and designers to meet quality, budget, and schedule objectives.
**What's Needed?**
+ 10+ years of experience in hands-on control systems engineering along with managing control systems engineering and design projects.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience in the project field for a small to mid-size engineering firm.
+ Proficiency in PLC/DCS System platforms such as DeltaV, Honeywell Experion, and Rockwell.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
+ Experience with scope, budget, reporting, etc. along with very strong current hands-on PLC/DCS experience with Honeywell, A/B and Siemens environments.
