Our team designs, manufactures, and installs robotic solutions globally, accelerating drug discovery, synthetic biology research, and clinical testing for major pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers. This role requires a strong leader who can coordinate and manage a multidisciplinary team of mechanical and electrical designers, procurement specialists, and installation engineers to ensure project success from inception to completion. **What you will contribute:** + **Project Leadership: ** Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of projects related to automated robotic systems. + **Team Coordination** : Oversee and coordinate the efforts of mechanical and electrical design, procurement, and installation to ensure project milestones andobjectivesare met. + **Budget Management: ** Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints. + **Timeline Management: ** Create andmaintaindetailed project schedules, ensuringtimelydelivery of all projectdeliverables. + **Communication: ** Serve as the primary point of contact for all projectcollaborators, including clients, team members, and senior management. Ensure clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle. + **Risk Management: ** Identifypotential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively. + **Quality Assurance: ** Ensure all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and performance. + **Documentation: ** Maintaincomprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and final deliverables. + **Continuous Improvement: ** Identifyopportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. **How will you get here?** **Education & Experience:** + Bachelor’sdegree inengineering, or related sciencefield + 8years’relevantproject management experience + 3years’provenexperiencein an automation or manufacturing environment + PMP® certification considered an asset **Knowledge & Skills:** + Management of projects in a structured PMO environment + Highproficiencyusing MS Project (or equivalent) + Solid cost and schedule managementskills + ProficiencynavigatinginERP systems + Strong organizational, planning and time-management skills + Strong interpersonal skills; verbal, written, and presentation + Fluent English speaking and writing skills, other languages considered an asset **Other Requirements:** + Valid Passport + Ability to travel up to25 - 50% of the timeinternationallywithout restrictions At Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 125,000 outstanding minds has a unique story to tell.
