THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

The Senior Product Owner (Sr. PO) for Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) is responsible for translating retail supply chain and planning strategy into executable product delivery. This role sits at the intersection of merchandising, supply chain, finance, and technology, ensuring that S&OP capabilities enable accurate forecasting, balanced demand and supply, and aligned financial outcomes.

 

The Sr. Product Owner owns the day-to-day product backlog for S&OP platforms and capabilities, working closely with Product Managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, data-driven planning solutions that support enterprise-level decision-making.

 

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:

 Product Ownership & Delivery

Own and manage the S&OP product backlog, ensuring alignment to product strategy, business outcomes, and roadmap priorities.Translate business needs into well-defined epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization activities to maximize value delivery.Serve as the primary point of contact for the agile & business teams on S&OP-related requirements and decisions.

S&OP Domain Leadership

Partner with Supply Chain, Merchandising, Inventory Planning, and Finance teams to enable end-to-end S&OP processes, including demand planning, supply planning, capacity planning, store replenishment,  and financial reconciliation.Ensure solutions support key S&OP cycles such as monthly planning, executive reviews, and exception management.Drive adoption of best-in-class retail planning practices, including scenario modeling, what-if analysis, and cross-functional alignment.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Act as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, balancing competing priorities across demand, supply, and financial objectives.Facilitate workshops and working sessions to gather requirements, validate assumptions, and align on outcomes.Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to product leadership and business partners.

Data, Analytics & Technology Enablement

Ensure S&OP capabilities leverage high-quality data, integrated systems, and analytics to support accurate and timely decision-making.Collaborate with data, analytics, and platform teams to define requirements for forecasts, KPIs, dashboards, and alerts.Support integration across upstream and downstream systems (e.g., merchandising, inventory, logistics, finance).

Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

Measure success through clearly defined outcomes and KPIs such as forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory health, and planning cycle efficiency.Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve system usability.Champion agile best practices and continuous improvement within the product delivery team.

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.4+ years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, or product management within a retail or supply chain technology environment.Strong hands-on experience supporting S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, or inventory planning processes.Proven ability to write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for complex planning workflows.Experience working in agile delivery models (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).Experience with retail planning platforms (e.g., o9, Blue Yonder, or similar).Strong understanding of retail financial planning, forecasting, and inventory performance metrics.Experience working with data engineering, analytics, or AI/ML-driven forecasting solutions.CSPO, SAFe POPM, or similar product ownership certification a plus

The pay range for this position is $102,900.00 - $114,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
