Sr Process Engineer

Make It With Pride.** This is an early career Leadership role where you will own the technology, process settings and capability-building for the equipment for the equipment on the line. You will possess deep expertise and will be viewed as the technology expert of the line. **How you will contribute** You will: + Partner & enable the line leader(s) to deliver the SQCDSM targets-Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability & Morale for the lines, to ensure Process stability; Participate in the DMS- Daily Management systems meetings at the line level + Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement, complying with the regulations and procedures defined at the Chicago bakery + Own the technology and process definition for the equipment; have deep technical mastery of the process and equipment; own the Autonomous Maintenance (AM) systems and work processes and the Autonomous Maintenance (AM) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the line/s along with Centerline Management systems + Develop, own, and track completion of the line’s AM systems and plans and builds capability of the team to execute themselves; build (spend at least 50% of your time) technical and maintenance skills of the core team (technicians) working in shifts, so that they are able to operate and maintain their equipment themselves; be part of the Focused Improvement (FI) Pillar, own all AM and FI systems and work process at the line level, and lead a work process at the department level + Assist in and/or lead the Vertical Start Up (VSU) process for new projects and initiatives based on complexity; help the line leader in internal and external benchmarking and reapplication; be the subject matter expert on one of the component categories and will be a trainer of PM related subjects for the plant **What you will bring** A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in: + Advanced knowledge of AM and FI systems & skill to maintain the dedicated equipment on your line at base condition, including the execution of AM & FI (Centerlines, Clean-Inspect-Lubricate, Working Principles, Root Cause Analysis) ) standards on dedicated equipment and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) - Phase 3 & 4 problem solving tools. + The capability to support in a technical & leadership role on the Line. Qualify and coach the next level Standard Work Process owners and drive common opportunity areas across the line using the PDCA-Plan Do Check Adjust approach + The capability to work as the Line Leader, developing and aligning goals and master-planning for the line coaching core team members on their performance and adherence to their standard work process execution **Job specific requirements:** + 2+ years of experience as a Process Engineer, or similar role, with direct responsibility identifying and eliminating losses and inefficiencies in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment + Ability to challenge the status quo and work collaboratively between functions + Ability to work independently and drive critical results + Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, and analytical skills **Education / Certifications:** + Bachelors’ Degree (required) + Engineering (required). Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (preferred) **Preferred Experience** : + Previous experience leading, motivating, and engaging teams + Knowledge of Integrated Lean Six Sigma Work Systems + Knowledge of Measurement Methods and Statistical Analysis + Previous Project Management experience + Previous experience in Production, Process or Continuous Improvement experience within Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) + Familiar with FDA and USDA regulations and requirements + Green Belt/Black Belt (preferred). **Work schedule:** + Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm **Salary and Benefits** + The base salary range for this position is $73,900.00 to $ 101,650.00; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.
