Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced and motivated professional for the role of a Sr. Principal Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist (Band 4) with experience in supply chain management, or related fields, to include business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, or manufacturing.
This position is located in Linthicum, MD.

As a Sr Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist for the Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center supporting the MDA, you join a team dedicated to supporting the various MDA programs reporting to the Supply Chain Program Manager for the MDA Business Unit. You will further the success of our programs to help Northrop Grumman leave the boundaries of what's known and solve tomorrow's problems. In this role you will oversee and manage the global supply chain/operational aspect of ongoing projects and serve as a liaison between project management, planning, engineering and GSC. You will assess program issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals and objectives. The Sr Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist responsibilities will encompass but are not limited to:
Providing support to the program team to evaluate material and equipment requirements throughout the life of the programInterface/collaborate with other functions of the program teamAnalyzes and aggregates supply / demand requirements. Planning and coordinating program requirementsMonitoring and establishing material inventoryAddressing supplier capacity and/or production issuesEvaluating suppliers and noting key performance indicatorsLeveraging your skills and talents throughout this roleForecasts material receipts and communicates variances to forecastCreates/releases requisitions. Receives/reviews requirements for non-standard parts. Analyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurements.Develop/understand the proposal/execution strategy and structuresMaintain a strong business acumen and ability to operate in a fast paced development environment that consists of leading edge technology suppliers and non-traditional supply base.Basic Qualifications for Sr Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist 4:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in supply chain management, or related fields, to include logistics, manufacturing/ project management, business management, or information systems OR Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in supply chain management, or related fields, to include logistics, manufacturing/ project management, business management, or information systems.Experience in SAP (or related)Experience managing programs, subcontracts, materials, financials, and/or servicesProficiency in MS Office suiteAbility to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearanceUs Citizenship

Salary Range: $108,400.00 - $162,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
