We are seeking a Sr. Principal (Level 4) Requirements and Verification Lead to join our talented team. This position is located onsite in Redondo Beach, CA.
This position is contingent upon program award and/or customer funding.
What You’ll get to Do:
As the Requirements and Verification Lead on this team, you will be leading a team to define, develop, decompose, analyze, verify, and validate requirements. In this role, you will be interacting with the customer and leadership to define and maintain the technical baseline. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to help drive the program through maturity and milestones to achieve the mission, ensuring everything is horizontally synchronized across software and systems engineering teams and processes are in place to develop requirements.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline; 6 years of relevant experience with a Masters degree; 4 years of experience with a PhDWorking knowledge of systems engineering principles and processesWorking experience with software based systemsExperience using the DOORS Requirements Management DatabaseAble to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings to program leadership and customersPrior working experience developing requirements and verification processesAbility to travel up to 10%Active TS/SCI security clearance at time of applicationThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience working in an Agile development environmentFamiliarity with Model Based Systems Engineering languages (SysML, UML) and tools (Cameo)Ability to work with a geographically dispersed teamExcellent technical writing and team building skillsSalary Range: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
