Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Launch and Missile Defense Systems offers an excellent opportunity for an Sr Principal Information Systems Project Manager – CCC Support Lead (25-397) to join our team of skilled and diverse professionals. This position, located at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO, plays a vital role in supporting the U.S. President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels.

Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a vital part of the Missile Defense System. It provides a crucial operational platform that enables the U.S. president, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and tactical levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, monitor battle progress, and actively control networked sensors and weapon systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC provides layered missile defense capabilities, delivering an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It acts as a force enhancer by linking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations both worldwide and locally to improve overall effectiveness. Moreover, C2BMC is an essential part of all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the missile defense system's current and future capabilities.

Essential Functions:
Leads and manages one or more project teams involved in operational planning, execution, and schedule management of critical systems within the C2BMC Command CenterCoordinates operational and administrative tasks for the C2BMC Command Center, including staffing, training certification, and resource distribution to support 24/7 operationsOversees projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and meet technical and organizational standardsManages the feedback loop among Operations and Maintenance (O&M) teams, Development Teams, and TO3 leadership to promote operational alignment and process improvementsDevelops and maintains operational documentation, such as Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and Operating Instructions (OIs), to improve command center performance and service deliveryBriefs program management, customer leadership, and stakeholders on technical system/network issues, incident updates, and project outcomes using tools like Microsoft Visio and PowerPointTracks certifications to ensure all O&M personnel involved in command center operations remain current and compliant with operational standardsSupports facility renovation projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and adherence to environmental, health, and security regulationsTrains as a C2BMC Watch Officer to support the team during emergencies and provide after-hours or weekend coverage as neededCollaborate with external DoD agencies, related Ballistic Missile Defense Systems groups, and operational teams to ensure coordination and resolve issues across departmentsBasic Qualifications:

Primary Level Salary Range: $124,900.00 - $187,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
