We are looking for you to join our team as a Senior Principal Cyber Software Engineer based out of Annapolis Junction, MD.
What You'll get to Do:
Working in conjunction with teams in Beaver Creek Ohio and San Diego California, the new team member will lead a Software Development team based in Annapolis Junction, MD chartered with building an Admin Software tool providing the user interface to HW and SW products.
The Sr. Principal Cyber Software Engineer designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensures software standards are met.
Basic Qualifications:
8 years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university (6 years experience with a Master’s Degree or 4 years experience with a PhD) as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity .
A current and active Secret Clearance.
SW IPT Leadership experience
GUI / UX development experience
Application Software Development experience
An ability to develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems
This position requires past experience in Software Development
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Top Secret or higher Clearance
Java, C, and/or Rust development experience
Web Service experience
Knowledge of key management infrastructure
Experience designing secure software systems
