Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, to see the battle develop collectively, and to dynamically manage designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability that enables an optimized response to threats of all ranges in all phases of flight. C2BMC is the force multiplier globally and regionally, networks, integrates, and synchronizes autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize performance. C2BMC is integral to all system ground and flight tests, which verify and exercise all current and future missile defense system capabilities.
In this role, the candidate will serve as the Network Security Engineering SME who will lead the development, implementation, and management of the C2BMC Enterprise infrastructure's cybersecurity posture. As a key member of our Network and Enterprise Services (NES) team, you'll leverage your expertise to design, develop, and deploy solutions utilizing automation tools, ensuring the highest level of security and compliance. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you'll collaborate with agile teams, stakeholders, and customers to track cyber compliance, generate reports, and develop plans to enhance the system's cyber posture. Based in Colorado Springs, CO, with occasional travel to alternate work locations, this role offers a unique opportunity to impact the security and integrity of our systems significantly.
Essential Functions:
Will plan, deploy, integrate, and test cybersecurity upgrades to the C2BMC network at operational sitesWill be the primary POC for all external communication relating to the C2BMC infrastructure cybersecurity, including other Agile teams, Key stakeholders, and the customerAdvise and help plan security design with the department's Chief Engineer and ArchitectExpected to develop and implement department-level security proceduresExpected to write, brief, and document POAM/Risk acceptance documentsDevelop and train other engineersCollaborate with Cyber department leadership and requirements team to ensure cross-department security design complianceReview releases for cyber complianceCreate standards for the teams to develop and maintain the highest standard of excellence for cybersecurityGenerate KPIs with targets and identify metrics to measure progress towards these goals properlyAutomate as much as possibleWork to address all CTOs, IAVAs, BODs, or directives that apply to the infrastructureBasic Qualifications:

Salary Range: $103,200.00 - $154,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
