Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has a couple of openings for Integrated Sr. Principal Chief Engineer-Product Team (IPT) Leads, with technical background in REX (receiver/exciter) or Antennas for Prime Mission Equipment.
Each of these Sr. Principal Chief Engineer-Product Team (IPT) Leads will be required to lead an engineering team working to transition designs to production for a very important sector priority program with many time-critical elements and high management visibility. They will interface with Engineering & Program Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Mission Assurance. In addition, they will brief internal and potentially external customer leadership on progress.
The selected candidates will perform in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings. The selected candidates are expected to be self-motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented and possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM-related discipline with 8 years of industry experience, or master’s degree and 6 years industry experience.Active and current Secret government clearance.Must have the ability to obtain SAP access.Experience as Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, Technical lead, or other leadership role in a program office or business function with demonstrated team building, organizational, and interpersonal skillsExperience with REX (receiver/exciter) or Antenna design / development / test (or similar)Leadership experience in a team environmentBasic understanding of the Design, Manufacturing and Test processPreferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS)Experience managing product in the critical path of a programExperience moving hardware through the factoryExperience with LRU/LRM Integration and testing for an EMD product transitioning to productionFluency with developing and executing project schedulesPMP certification a plusActive and current Top Secret government clearance a plusSalary Range: $131,100.00 - $196,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
