Sr People/HR Business Partner Job ID 229380 Posted 04-Aug-2025 Service line Advisory Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest People/Human Resources Location(s) New York City - New York - United States of America **About the Role:** As a CBRE People Business Sr. Partner, you will contribute to the design and drive the delivery of the HR strategy for the designated markets to achieve business objectives while ensuring that culture is developed and maintained. You will advocate for and partner with the management on all employee lifecycle activities and direct the roll-out and communication of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures. This job is part of the People Strategy and Operations function. They are responsible for the design, execution, and monitoring of human resource programs and policies. **What You’ll Do:** + Oversee the management and delivery of several HR functions, initiatives, and best practices in partnership with management, including succession planning, performance management, compensation cycles, talent development, etc. + Provide high-risk employee and labor relations guidance and conflict resolution. Assist with issuing disciplinary action and performance improvement counseling. + Identify and proactively address employment-related risks. Conduct thorough ethics investigations from beginning to end, determine recommendations based on outcomes, and partner with the business to deliver resolutions. + Develop and conduct training on a variety of topics including performance management, management practices, culture, diversity, and more. + Evaluate the status and productivity of HR programs and metrics and recommend changes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness. + Partner with management on organizational changes and assess the talent impacts. + Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives. + Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function. + Serve as a coach to others on the People team to help them develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the People function. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view. + Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. The minimum salary for the Sr HRBP position is $110,000.00 annually and the maximum salary for the Sr HRBP position position is $140,000.00 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.  Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
