Sr Operations Manager

Job Overview:
Sr Manager Operations will focus on maintenance and engineering responsible for driving a culture of safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Oversees multidisciplinary technical teams, leads maintenance strategy to maximize equipment reliability and OEE, manages budgets and capital projects, and ensures strong cross‑functional alignment to support 24/7 production. Utilizes data‑driven insights to optimize performance, develop team capabilities, and maintain strict compliance with all site standards and regulatory requirements.

Champion a culture of safety and accountability across all maintenance and engineering functionsProvide strong operational leadership to a team comprised of three Automation Controls Engineers, an Engineering Project Manager, a Data Analyst, and a Junior Maintenance Manager with five Supervisors and approximately fifty Technicians across four shiftsEstablish clear systems, processes, and communication routines that ensure consistent execution, timely information flow, and disciplined adherence to commitmentsLead the site’s maintenance and engineering strategy to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and drive OEE performanceOwn the R&M budget, ensuring accurate forecasting, disciplined spend management, and tight MRO inventory controlOversee the site’s capital project portfolio, including planning, prioritization, execution, and stakeholder alignment for large‑scale investmentsServe as the primary point of contact for facility management acting as the site lead for coordination with the outsourced facilities services vendorUse data and performance analytics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities, ensuring issues are escalated and addressed proactivelyDrive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reliability, efficiency, and long‑term asset healthEnsure documentation, work processes, and maintenance systems are accurate, current, and consistently followedDevelop technical and leadership capability across engineering, maintenance, and supervisory teamsConduct ongoing performance management and ensure timely completion of reviews, coaching, and development plansCollaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Site Leadership to align priorities and support 24/7 production needsEnsure compliance with site policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards
Total Rewards:

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred (Engineering discipline ideal)Strong background in organizational leadership with experience leading large, diverse technical teamsExperience managing large capex portfolios and project pipelinesProficiency with Microsoft Office and data‑driven decision makingUnderstanding of lean principles and continuous improvementExceptional communication and information‑dissemination skills with disciplined follow‑throughStrong problem‑solving and prioritization abilities in a fast‑paced 24/7 environmentAbility to collaborate effectively across departmentsComfortable managing multiple concurrent initiatives with high attention to detailAbility to work onsite in a 24/7 operation with infrequent travel
