**Senior Network Engineers** • **Strategic Planning** : Lead network architecture design, aligning with business goals, scalability, and emerging technologies (e.g., SD-WAN, zero-trust security). • **Complex Problem Resolution** : Act as the final escalation point for critical issues, such as major outages or intricate multi-vendor integration problems. • **Mentorship and Leadership** : Guide Network Engineers and Operations Specialists, providing technical expertise and fostering skill development. • **Policy and Standards Development** : Define network standards, security policies, and best practices to ensure reliability and compliance (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO 27001). • **Vendor and Stakeholder Management** : Evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with leadership on budgeting and roadmaps. • **Automation and Innovation** : Implement automation scripts (e.g., Python, Ansible, API calls) to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks. • **Project Leadership** : Oversee large-scale projects like network refreshes, cloud migrations, or global WAN deployments, ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruption. **Job Summary** The Senior Infrastructure Engineer role is responsible to provide oversight and participate in the architecture, design, engineering, testing and implementation phases of multiple IT projects to ensure the confidential, integrity, and available information assets and systems.
