**Job Description:**
The Mobility Transport Technician role you've described is a critical position focused on maintaining and troubleshooting the Mobility Transport Network, which supports AT&T's wireless infrastructure including 4G and 5G technologies. Here's a concise breakdown of the role's key aspects:
**Core Responsibilities**
+ **Network Maintenance & Repair:** Handle equipment such as MSNs, SIADs, Microwave systems, and NTEs.
**Remote Troubleshooting:** Analyze and resolve network issues remotely using trouble tickets, calls, and emails. Perfrom detailed analysis and defining the necessary steps for restoration or issue resolution
+ **Collaboration:** Coordinate with internal teams, Local Exchange Carriers, and vendors.
**Key Technologies & Protocols:**
+ **Devices:** Cisco, Nokia, Juniper, Vyatta
+ **Protocols:** OSPF, BGP, HSRP, VRRP, BFD, static routing (IPv4/IPv6)
+ **Troubleshooting Areas:**
+ **Layer 1:** Cables, SFPs, Cards
+ **Layer 2:** VLAN down, ARP issues
+ **Layer 3:** Packet loss, multicast, broadcast, unicast
+ **Common Issues:** Cable and hardware faults, VLAN and ARP problems, packet loss, multicast, broadcast, and unicast issues.
**Qualifications & Skills**
+ Strong communication skills in English.
+ CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge.
+ Basic Unix understanding.
+ Knowledge of RF transmission and radio systems.
+ Technical education or related experience preferred.
**Work Environment**
+ **Working Hours** : 05:00 – 16:00 local time (EMEA)
+ **Work Location:** Flex worker (1-3 days in Brno office).
+ **Compensation** : Salary starting from 90,000 CZKgross monthly. The actual offered salary may be considerably higher based on your skills, knowledge and experience.
