The opportunityKey position in achieving company objectives, with both financial and commercial oversight
Provide trade marketing and commercial end-to-end leadership for relevant TA to drive sales growth, increase brand visibility, and strengthen relationships with retail partners. Develop and execute trade marketing strategies and implement a strategic approach addressing key unmet needs, value generation with customers, channels and pricing strategy, generating value to our stakeholders. How you’ll spend your dayThis role is responsible for full Trade marketing plan develop and execution as for the pricing strategy and execution per TA along with marketing management.
To stakeholders, this role acts as a reference point for Trade Marketing.
This may include activities like:
- Develop and implement comprehensive trade marketing plans aligned with overall business objectives and sales targets.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify key opportunities for growth.
- Lead the development of promotional campaigns, product launches, and sales initiatives tailored to the needs of trade partners, including wholesalers, distributors, and retailers.
- Analyze market trends, sales data, and customer insights to optimize trade marketing strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage trade marketing budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximize ROI.
- Build strong relationships with trade partners and key stakeholders to enhance collaboration and drive mutual business success.
- Provide guidance and support to the marketing team on trade-specific initiatives and promotional activities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to proactively adjust trade marketing strategies as needed.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of trade marketing programs, making recommendations for enhancements and adjustments as necessary.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute trade marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with sales, marketing, and other departments.
- Support brand planning and QBR (this includes market data understanding: PMM, ATV, CUP, Veeva etc)
- Support Supply planning and operations approach based on demand expected as result of Trade marketing plans
- Field work To stakeholders, this role acts as a reference point for Pricing. This may include activities like:
- Developing Pricing Strategies: Creating and implementing pricing strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives and market positioning. 2
- Market Analysis: Conducting market research and analysis to understand customer demand, competitor pricing, and market trends that may impact pricing decisions.
- Price Setting: Setting prices for products or services based on cost analysis, market demand, competitive landscape, and desired profit margins.
- Profit Maximization: Maximizing profitability by optimizing pricing structures and identifying opportunities for price adjustments or discounts.
- Pricing Models: Developing and maintaining pricing models to calculate optimal prices based on various factors such as costs, demand elasticity, and competitive pricing.
- Promotions and Discounts: Planning and executing promotional pricing strategies, discounts, and incentives to drive sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Price Monitoring and Analysis: Monitoring pricing performance, analyzing sales data, and evaluating the effectiveness of pricing strategies to make data-driven decisions and adjustments as needed.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborating with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure pricing strategies are integrated into overall business plans and effectively communicated to stakeholders.
- Competitive Intelligence: Keeping abreast of competitor pricing strategies and market developments to anticipate changes in the competitive landscape and adjust pricing strategies accordingly. - Compliance: Ensuring pricing practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including pricing transparency laws and regulations.
Your experience and qualifications5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably with 3+ year(s) experience in Trade marketing (any industry, preferably pharma or trade). Experienced at working collaboratively in an autonomous way. Expertise in current TA is a plus
Bachelor or Licensed professional of healthcare sciences, marketing, administration, industrial engineering. Preferred: Marketing, business administration and healthcare
Expertise: Trade Marketing and Gross‑to‑Net management in both national and regional companies
Independent, decision‑maker, and an internal leader collaborating with cross‑functional areas
