**Position Summary:** Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Hartford, CT: Sr Mgr, Release Train Eng to design and deliver efficient technical software solutions in furtherance of our technical initiatives relating to multiple software applications. Partner and collaborate with teams to be a part of a team of engineers developing elegant code, state-of-the-art experiences and build industry leading software. Partner with application owners, business partners and peer groups regarding long and short-range technical solutions that meet business requirements. Coordinate release content and effort based on service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates. Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and that they meet or exceed expectations. Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality. Carry out and facilitate Scrum events, removing impediments, promoting collaboration, supporting the Product Owner, and driving continuous improvement. Ensure the effective implementation of the Scrum framework, creating a conducive environment for the team's success, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. Apply highly developed knowledge on a scaled agile framework (SAFe) to facilitate the successful execution of an Agile Release Train (ART). Benchmark agile metrics against industry standards or previous performance to uncover bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement. Ensure resources are appropriately sized, balanced, and empowered to successfully work within the scrum framework. Consult with stakeholders on team performance, quality of deliverables, and the impact of the scrum
implementation process. Counsel teams on program increment (PI) planning efficiency methodologies to identify and resolve dependencies. Create communication mechanisms or feedback loop platforms for effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration. Design and develop an industry leading engagement strategy to evaluate the health and engagement of agile teams. Develop actionable insights from agile metrics, which includes burn-down charts, sprint velocity, and team capacity utilization. Develop the scrum strategy to measure the quality of deliverables to track defect rates or customer-reported issues. Continuously check and monitor application health and KPIs, support triage of any production issues. Mentor junior team members. Independently lead development of solutions with high complexity and risk. Telecommuting available.
**Requirements:** Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following: Agile methodologies and principles; Domain Release management; Scrum Master; Project management tools: Clarity and PlanView; Project management tools: Rational ClearCase and ClearQuest; Requirement management tool: Rational; QuickBase; Domain support for healthcare organization; JIRA; and Microsoft Office (VBA).
**Pay Range:** $145995.00/year to $240000.00/year.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
