Position Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support our Aetna Senior Supplement Insurance (SSI) business based in Franklin, TN. This role will serve as a Product Owner of release scrum teams as well as a Project Business Analyst. The position reports to the Implementation Management Office (IMO) and it involves close collaboration with fellow Business Analysts, Project Managers, and development team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the desired business vision, value, and customer experience are achieved.

Drive timelines, milestones, documentation, and prioritization to meet delivery goals.

Act as the key decision maker on a SAFe Agile Scrum team, applying sound judgment in all product decisions.

Maintain ongoing collaboration with business stakeholders, product management, and scrum/program team members to align priorities and outcomes.

Participate in mandatory Program Increment (PI) planning sessions and other regular SAFe meetings to support team alignment and planning.

Elicit, document, and validate business requirements for projects of varying complexity.

Translate stakeholder needs into clear, actionable specifications and user stories.

Escalate critical issues to leadership as needed.

Prepare requirement documents, process flows, and impact analyses.

Ensure adherence to organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of directly related experience
3+ years experience as an Agile or Scaled Agile (SAFe) Product Owner

3+ years experience as a business analyst

Effective verbal and written communicator

Proven track record in managing project deliverables in a fast paced environment, meeting project milestones and negotiating for resources

Preferred Qualifications


Previous experience in Insurance/Healthcare industry strongly encouraged

SAFe Product Owner certification strongly encouraged

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$75,400.00 - $165,954.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
