As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of products, from initial concept through to final delivery. This is a highly collaborative role where you'll directly engage with customers, cross-functional internal teams, and external partners, ensuring superior results. You'll also have the opportunity to mentor and guide less experienced engineers, cultivating talent and leading project priorities to success. **Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer** **Location: Tucson, AZ** **Pay Range: $110,000-$130,000** **What’s the Job?** + Lead the design and analysis of complex mechanical components and assemblies, including: + High-performance Heatsinks and Heat Exchangers for optimized thermal management. + Precision Optical Assemblies critical for laser performance. + Innovative Opto-Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Assemblies. + Advanced Direct Diode Laser Sources, Fiber Coupled Laser Systems, and supporting Tooling and Test System Design. + Create CAD designs and detailing using SolidWorks while adhering to GD&T standards. + Leverage ANSYS other advanced analytical tools for comprehensive design validation. **What’s Needed?** + Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution. + Minimum of 6 years of experience in semiconductor or other electronics packaging. + An understanding of thermal design and fluid flow. + Competency in ANSYS for design validation. + Experience designing components and assemblies. + Proficiency in design software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD. **What’s in it for me?** + 401K match of 6% + additional annual 3% contribution + Comprehensive medical plans with 75% - 100% of the premium paid and a lump-sum contribution to your Health Savings Account + Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) + 4 weeks of PTO & 11 Paid Holiday’s + Relocation Support Provided + Generous tuition reimbursement If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
